Eminent Editions is a video production studio rooted in craft, not trends. We believe every frame should earn its place. From corporate narratives to event documentation, from product reveals to documentary shorts — our work is built on a foundation of listening first, then creating.

What began as freelance event coverage for local businesses in Michigan quickly revealed a deeper calling. Our founder purchased a second-hand cinema rig and started experimenting with narrative structure in commercial work — treating every 60-second clip as a story worth telling properly.
"We didn't plan a company. We planned a film. The company happened because people kept asking for more."
When in-person shoots became impossible, we invested heavily in remote direction workflows. We guided clients through self-capture setups, then assembled raw footage into polished pieces in post. This forced us to become better editors, better communicators, and better planners. It also opened the door to clients across Ireland and beyond.
We moved into our permanent workspace on Dianne Fields. A proper colour grading suite, a sound booth, and a pre-production room where every project now begins with a whiteboard session. This was the year we stopped being freelancers and became a studio.
"Having a physical space changed everything. Clients could see the process, touch the equipment, sit in the edit chair."
Our first commissioned documentary short — a 22-minute piece on artisan food producers in the west of Ireland — screened at three regional festivals. This opened a new lane: long-form storytelling for brands that want depth, not just reach. We now split our work roughly 60/40 between commercial and documentary projects.
We take on roughly three projects per month. This isn't scarcity marketing — it's a production constraint we've chosen to protect quality. Every project gets a dedicated producer, a lead editor, and a colour grade review. We're not the cheapest. We're the ones who remember your brief six months later.

Every video project we've ever worked on has been different. Different goals, different audiences, different constraints. Packaging creative work into tidy tiers with catchy names would make our sales page look cleaner, but it would also force your project into a shape that might not fit.
Instead, we start every engagement with a conversation. Sometimes that conversation takes fifteen minutes. Sometimes it takes a week of back-and-forth over email. The goal is always the same: understand what success looks like for you, then build a scope and budget around that definition.
We quote per-project, not per-hour. You'll know the full cost before we pick up a camera. No surprise line items, no "additional editing fees" buried in fine print. If the scope changes mid-project, we talk about it openly and adjust together.
— The Eminent Editions production team
"We hired Eminent Editions to produce a three-part internal training series. What we got back was so good, we ended up using it externally as a recruitment tool. The production value made our 40-person company look like a multinational." — Declan Morrissey, Operations Lead, Harbour Logistics
"They flew a drone over our vineyard at golden hour and captured footage that became the centrepiece of our entire rebrand. Worth every cent." — Clara Whitfield, Owner, Whitfield & Vine
We're selective about the projects we take on — not because we're exclusive, but because we want every collaboration to succeed. Here's a quick self-check.
